Synopsis
In an explosion in a mine, three miners are killed. Before the town gets over the accident, a carnival troupe comes to town. While the bitter struggle between the miners and the mine owners goes on, one of the miners falls in love with a girl working with the carnival troupe. As the strike committed miners face off with the mine owners and with the union, the love affair between the miner who is torn between the traditional values of rural life and his feelings and the girl who is looking for a lasting relationship slowly reaches its climax.
