Synopsis

At the weekend, the family reunites at the lakeside country house of the old parents. Two sons and two daughters bring their wives and children and girl friends and ex-husbands along with them. And along with them come all the troubles and tensions of their lives. A hidden violence poisons the seemingly peaceful and caring relations of the family members. The micro cosmos of the family shakes as all the forgotten conflicts, long suppressed hatred and fury surface one by one.

When they make an effort to treat each other right and maintain a balance, it is like walking on a tightrope. A wrong move, a wrong word can sparkle the atmosphere, but then, almost as easily, comes the temporary calm; love and understanding, pity and repentance bring them close to each other, until…
