Synopsis
Set in the chaotic atmosphere of Turkey in 90’s, the film unfolds the events, which causes Taner, a self-centred and uncompromising lawyer, to revolt against the corruption in the society. People are being subdued and intolerance, hypocrisy and violence prevail instead of human values. While he is trying to get through the problems in his marriage, he also tries to maintain a secret love affair with his closest friend’s wife. He only finds relief at home beside his sister, Saime, a highly sensitive girl condemned to live in a wheelchair. One day he gets in trouble with mobsters, who are after him because of some confidential documents that one of his clients had left behind. These papers reveal the government’s connection with the Mafia but strangely his client disappears.
